What a cleaning invoice should show

Regular clients pay faster when they can see exactly which visits they are paying for.

Each visit: Date, type of clean, start and end time, and hours.
Type of clean: Regular clean, deep cleaning, end of tenancy, office or windows.
Hourly rate: One rate per hour, shown next to the total hours.
Supplies: If you charge for products, switch to a standard invoice and add them as lines.
Address: Add the cleaning address as the work address. It shows as Ship to.
Payment details: Bank details or a payment link in the notes, so paying takes a minute.

Can I invoice by the hour?

Yes. This page opens a timesheet invoice: enter start and end times and the hours are worked out for you, minus any break.

Can I invoice a fixed price per clean?

Yes. Switch to Standard invoice at the top and add each clean as a line with quantity 1 and your price.

How often should I invoice regular clients?

Weekly or monthly is common. Add all visits in the period to one invoice so your client pays once.
